Perchance Story AI follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share your data with trusted third parties to provide our services:

• Whop: For processing payments and managing subscriptions. Their use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.
• Google (Firebase & Generative AI): We use Firebase for backend services like authentication and database management, and Google's Generative AI for story and image generation. Uploaded images and prompts are sent to these services.
• Service Providers: Who provide IT and system administration services.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore Security Rules to protect your data.

2. Description of Service

Perchance Story AI is a service that allows users to generate illustrated digital storybooks using artificial intelligence. Users purchase credits which are then used to generate stories. The number of credits required depends on the length and features of the story.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use our service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original content you upload (e.g., your character photograph). By using the service, you grant us a license to use this content to generate the story. You own the copyright to the final generated storybook (text and images) for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell the generated stories without our express written permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose or to generate content that is hateful, harassing, violent, or sexually explicit. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Our refund policy is simple and transparent.

You are eligible for a full refund for a credit package purchase under one condition: you have not used any of the credits from that specific purchase.

Once you use even a single credit from a purchased package to generate a story, the entire purchase becomes non-refundable. This is due to the costs incurred from our AI service providers for content generation.

To request a refund, please contact us through the Whop platform, and we will verify your credit usage and process the refund if you are eligible.
